Wildflowers, Weeds and Stewardship Deeds Community Program April 23rd, 10am

Plants that are native to our area provide many benefits to the environment. Join us at the Marine Science Education Center at 10am on Saturday, April 23rd to expand your knowledge of local plants, participate in hands-on planting activities, and prepare to be stewards of the future! We will walk the trails of the new Water Wise Wildlife Garden, and learn about the plants we observe. We will also participate in a planting activity on the north dune of the Wetlands Education Center. The stewardship fun doesn’t stop there. We will provide peat pots, potting soil and wildflower seeds so that everyone can plant something to take home! This program is designed for all ages, so kids bring your adults with you. SEA you there!
